As the “Chinese cultural city” and “China’s best tourist city”, Chengdu carries thousands of years of history, and the UNESCO Creative Cities Network has awarded it the title of “Gourmet Capital”. Chengdu city attractions are more concentrated, you can spend one to two days visiting all of them. The best spots are scattered around the area, and it is more appropriate to arrange 2-4 days to explore the charm there. Dujiangyan and Qingcheng Mountain cannot be missed during your trip to Chengdu, and it usually takes 2-3 days to play there.
The Giant Panda Breeding Research Institute is the closest giant panda base in Chengdu. You can be in close contact with the pandas. It completely simulates the wild panda’s wild living environment. It has lakes, streams, bamboo forests, lawns, etc., and has more than 100 giant pandas.
There is a giant panda museum near the gate, where you can send a postcard with a panda postmark at the Panda Post Office, and you can also watch a documentary about the giant panda at the cinema. In addition to giant pandas, you can also see small animals such as black-necked cranes, peacocks, and herons. It is best to watch the panda before 09:30 in the morning (during 09:00-11:00 a.m. it has a feeding time).
