Nalati Tourist Scenic Area

The grasslands of Nalati Tourist Scenic Area are subalpine meadow plant areas, which is one of the four major grasslands in the world. It is located on the northern slope of the Nalati Mountains. It consists of the following three parts: the aerial grassland, the river valley grassland, and the Nalati National Forest Park. The total planned area of the Nalati Tourist Scenic Area is 960 square kilometers. The scenic area is composed of high mountain grassland sightseeing area, Kazakh folk customs area and tourist living area from south to north.

Nalati grassland has been a famous pasture since the ancient times. With flat river valleys, high peaks, deep gorges, lush forests, and grassland stretches, they are combined with local Kazakh folk customs to become a resort for sightseeing, excursions, scientific investigations, leisure and entertainment, and summer resorts.

Every year from June to September, the Nalati tourist scenic area is green, and there are wild flowers in full bloom. The climate is very suitable. The river valleys, mountains, deep gorges, and forests complement each other. In summer, Kazakh herdsmen come to alpine meadows, set up a yurt, and graze cattle and sheep. Summer is also the most beautiful season on the grassland. After June of each year, large groups of livestock move in and enter the golden season of the grassland. Folklore activities are often held here so you can experience the Kazakh folk customs.

The Nalati prairie is located in Xinyuan County, Yili, Xinjiang. This is also the most beautiful place in Yili. Everywhere is beautiful landscape and blue sky. Flocks of cattle and sheep are on the grass, which is very impressive. There are also various wildflowers. The beautiful grassland scenery, snowy mountains, wildflowers, forests, canyons, cattle, and sheep make up a beautiful picture with a panoramic view.

Chaotianmen Square

Chaotianmen Square is located in the northeast of Yuzhong District, Chongqing, at the top of the Yuzhong Peninsula. It is located at the confluence of the Yangtze River and the Jialing River. Standing on the square, you will feel that the scenery of the two rivers and the three places is panoramic.

At the front end of Chaotianmen Square, the green water of Jialing River merges with the yellowish-yellow Yangtze River; to the east is the magnificent Chongqing Grand Theater in Jiangbei District; to the west is the brilliantly lit Nanbin Road in Nan’an District. The square is also a leisure place for local citizens. When the weather is good, many people fly kites here.

Today, the local government is preparing to make this one of the “new Chongqing” signs, an internationally fashionable area. The pier near Chaotianmen Square is the starting point for a night tour of the two rivers.

Many tourists will be really shocked by the spectacular view of Chaotianmen. What is shocking is not the dignity of the millennium ancient capital like Beijing and Xi’an, nor the pioneering fashion of Shanghai and Shenzhen, but the people, the living people themselves here. It interprets the most noisy and busy life, and also raises the human fireworks.

Chaotianmen is one of the nine gates in Chongqing. It is one of the nine tributaries of the Yangtze River. The Jialing River merges into the Yangtze River and runs towards the East China Sea. There are tens of thousands of people coming and going here every day, and the most spectacular sight is also the flow of goods and the sight of people busy for life. Walking from shoulder to shoulder, walking up and down the stone steps in Chongqing, and rolling equipment on the dock accompanied by the roar of the whistle. Chaotianmen Wharf is also the most important starting point for visiting the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River. Xizhou Ancient Town

Xizhou Ancient Town is located 18 kilometers north of the ancient city of Dali, facing the Erhai Lake in the east and Cangshan Mountain in the west. Xizhou Ancient Town is an important town where the Bai people live. There are the best-preserved and best buildings of the Bai people. These folk houses are decorated with carved beams, overlapping arches, angled cornices, gatehouses, photo walls and gables. The colorful decorative arts of the houses fully reflect the architectural talent and artistic creativity of the Bai people.

Xizhou Ancient Town is famous for Yang Pinxiang’s House, Yan Family Courtyard, Hou Family Courtyard, etc. It not only maintains the characteristics of traditional Bai houses, but also combines Chinese and Western architectural techniques. Historically, Xizhou Ancient Town was a military center in Nanzhao, with a relatively developed culture, and it had exported many famous people from all walks of life to the country.

When you first come to Xizhou Ancient Town, the first thing you can see is the two big green trees with thick leaves and branches in the village. The Bai people believe that the big green tree is a symbol of village prosperity. It is the Feng Shui tree that the ancient Bai village should have its own. This tree usually forms a group activity center for the villagers together with the stage. The two trees at the end of Xizhou Ancient Town are very old. Whenever autumn comes, there is full of snow-white herons, which is a unique landscape of Xizhou Ancient Town.

Xizhou Ancient Town is hailed as the first town of the Bai nationality. It is the largest community of Bai nationality in China. It is backed by Cangshan Mountain and faces the Erhai Lake. With a superior geographical location, the town is full of traditional dwellings with ethnic characteristics, which are well preserved and it is a good place for tourists to experience local ethnic customs. The costumes, languages, food, music, dances, folklore, etc. which are represented by the Bai nationality, have a strong national customs and historical and cultural atmosphere. They are very valuable for tourists and are the most representative window for understanding the culture of the Bai nationality.
